U.S. Rep. Dan Lipinski is set to mark the nation's Flag Day by joining in support of a constitutional amendment aimed at banning flag burning, according to his office.

According to Rep. Dan Lipinski (IL-3), thus far about $450 million has come from the federal government, $400 million from state government, $220 million from railroad companies and only $15 million from the city of Chicago and Cook County to fund CREATE.

While about $1.2 billion has been either spent or committed to CREATE, much more work needs to be done, said U.S. Rep. Dan Lipinski (IL-3).
