Please note that many popular tourists spots in Washington, D.C. are closed during the COVID-19 outbreak. While the National Park Service has not closed access to the national monuments, it is strongly suggested to practice social distancing that is outlined by the and even consider postponing travel at this time. 
If you are visiting Washington, D.C. and are interested in scheduling a tour of the White House, U.S. Capitol, Bureau of Engraving and Printing, U.S. Department of Treasury, Kennedy Center, Library of Congress, or Pentagon, please fill out Congressman Lipinski’s Tour Request Form.

Please review the following information about Congressionally sponsored tours.

White House: CLOSED 1600 Pennsylvania Ave., NW. Group White House tours are arranged through Congressman Lipinski’s Washington office. UPDATE: Please note that the White House will ONLY accept tour requests within 90 days of the visit. Unfortunately, this does not guarantee a White House tour.

U.S. Capitol: CLOSED Located on Capitol Hill. Congressional tours are available through Congressman Lipinski’s Washington office. Public tours are conducted Monday through Friday, 10:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Lines for public tours form on the East side of the Capitol in front of the center Rotunda entrance in the Congressional Visitors Center. Bureau of Engraving and Printing: CLOSED 14th and C Street, SW. See how currency and stamps are printed. Limited congressional tickets are available through Congressman Lipinski’s Washington office with at least three months notice prior to tour dates. Public tours are only available Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., leaving every 15 minutes. Extended public tour hours are available during the months of June, July, and August. You may contact the Bureau at (202) 874-3019 for more information on public tours.

U.S. Department of Treasury: CLOSED 1500 Pennsylvania Ave, NW. The Department of Treasury Building is open for public tours on Saturday mornings.

The Kennedy Center: New Hampshire Ave. at Rock Creek Pkwy., NW. Congressional tours are available through Congressman Lipinski’s Washington office. Public tours are conducted daily from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and leave every 15 minutes. Visitors should go to the Tour Lounge, Parking Level A. You may contact the tour office at (202) 416-8340.

Library of Congress: CLOSED Jefferson Building: 101 Independence Ave., SE. Congressional tours are available through Congressman Lipinski’s Washington office. Public tours are conducted Monday through Saturday at 10:30 a.m., 11:30 a.m., 1:30 p.m., 2:30 p.m., and 4:30 p.m. Same-day tickets may be obtained at the information desk starting at 10:00 a.m. For groups of ten or more, you need to make a reservation for a tour at (202) 707-5458.

Pentagon: CLOSED Army Navy Dr. and Fern St., Arlington, VA. Located across the 14th Street Bridge, public tours are available Monday through Friday starting at 9:30 a.m. and leave every 30 minutes. An adult must accompany visitors under 16 years of age. Reservations are required for groups of nine or more and must be made at least two weeks in advance. Requests can be made through Congressman Lipinski’s Washington office.

*Federal Bureau of Investigation: CLOSED 935 Pennsylvania Ave., NW. Due to security concerns, the Federal Bureau of Investigation building is temporarily closed to public tours.
